Perbandingan Terapi Peeling Kimiawi Dengan Glycolic Acid 35% dan Mandelic Acid 30% dalam Menurunkan Derajat Keparahan Akne Vulgaris

Introduction: Acne vulgaris is a pilosebaceous unit disorder which mostly seen in adolescents and adults with approximately 85% occurs at the age of 12-25 years. Methods: The purpose this study to know comparison between chemical peeling therapy 35% glycolic acids (GA) 30% mandelic (MA) reduce severity acne vulgaris. A total 30 medical students suffering from mild severe were involved study. patients randomly divided into two groups, one group receiving GA other MA peels an interval 4 weeks for sessions. Mann Whitney test used analysis difference p value < 0,05 considered statistically significant. Results discussion: majority are females (70,0%), 14 years olds (50,0%), duration 7,8 10 (16,7%). There no significant reducing (p > 0,05). Chemical has antibacterial effect treat others skin disorders such as acne, photoaging, pigmentation disorders. proven be effective treatment inflammation non-inflammation acne.
